LST1164
The LST1164 is a 64Gbaud linear quad TIA chip that integrates four lanes of TIAs for XI, XQ, YI and YQ channels, as well as digital interface circuitry for DC controls on a single die for 400G/600G coherent applications. The TIA electrical characteristics, functions, and physical dimensions are designed for OIF IC-TROSA which can be used in small-form factor integrated optical module such as QSFP-DD, CFP2 and CFP4.
The LST1164 can operate in automatic gain control (AGC) mode and manual gain control (MGC) mode. It can adjust its trans-impedance from 65Ω to 5kΩ and delivers an output voltage of 200-700 mVppd in AGC mode.
The LST1164 supports a very wide input optical power range. It provides low noise, linear amplification for differential input current up to 3mApp.
The LST1164 has peaking controlfunctions to adjust frequency response for optimization of PD and DSP combination; it also has an output peak detector monitor function.
The LST1164 operates from a +3.3V power supply, and available in die form.
